Welcome to...The Sanctuary
At Ringwood Heights we have been working on the sanctuary and lots of hard work has been happening already. We are trying to make it a part of the curriculum, get students and community involved with the Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary is to be cleaned up and returned to its original state. The students have already started to plant some flora outside the school to help keep out weeds. We will continue to plant a wide range of flora and discover the other plants that are native to the area. We also have a range of endangered species and are trying to raise community awareness.

We have been given a Grant that will help continue to refurbish the Sanctuary. We will work on making it much more habitable for animals. We will clean up the pathways so children can enter in future.
Hopefully the Sanctuary will be finished by May 2014 and will be a important part of our community.
